As part of its drive to provide a range of services to sport, Sportscover has launched a new portal for exclusive interviews with sports VIPs, together with news and features from its popular Touchline magazine.
The new website, touchlinemagazine.com contains all of the features from its quarterly Touchline magazine that has a burgeoning readership of over five thousand, but has the added bonus of a new initiative - Touchline TV - to promote sport and present interviews on topical sports issues from people in the know.
A National Governing Body CEO Forum has been launched in the UK to act as an independent voice to influence national and local policy making on sport in England.
In an attempt to promote the work of their governing bodies the Forum have released a report titled the "State of Play", which highlights their impact in 2014.
Sportscover focusing on expansion following approval of Hamilton deal
Following regulatory approval for the change of control of two of its Lloyd’s businesses - Lloyd’s managing agency Sportscover Underwriting Limited, and the Lloyd’s brokerage Kinetic Limited - to the Hamilton Insurance Group Ltd (“Hamilton”), Sportscover is focusing on expanding its global footprint and range of services.
The substantial multi-million dollar deal between Sportscover’s parent company, Wild Goose Holdings (‘WGH”) and Hamilton, is seen as a major triumph for the group and has now received approval from the Prudential Regulation Authority, the Financial Conduct Authority and Lloyd’s.
Sportscover appointed Official Insurance Partner for British Weight Lifting
British Weight Lifting has announced a new partnership with Sportscover, which sees the specialist sports and leisure insurer named as the Official Insurance Partner for the national governing body.
