Sportscover Underwriting Limited (SCU) is a Lloyd's managing agency authorised by Lloyd's and the United Kingdom Financial Services Authority (FSA). It manages our own Lloyd's Syndicate, 3334 SCS, which is the only dedicated sports and leisure syndicate in Lloyd's.

SCU does not write insurance business itself but is responsible for managing all aspects of the syndicate's operation, including appointing the underwriters, meeting Lloyd's and the FSA compliance and reporting requirements, maintaining and investing insurance reserves and so on.

We are proud of the fact that SCU is in a select group of managing agents authorised by Lloyd's and the FSA. Such authorisation is not achieved easily - many applicants are rejected by Lloyd's and the FSA each year. But with this privilege comes responsibility and we work vigorously to meet and surpass all compliance and reporting requirements.
